In the third quarter of 2024, the travel and local app market in Switzerland saw varied performance among the top applications, as reported by Sensor Tower. This analysis covers key metrics such as weekly downloads and active users for the leading apps on the unified platform, encompassing both iOS and Android data.

Booking.com: Hotels & Travel experienced a fluctuating trend in weekly downloads, beginning the quarter with approximately 10K downloads and peaking at 11.9K in the second week. Towards the end of the quarter, the app saw an increase, closing with around 9.4K downloads. The app's active user base showed a gradual decline from 325K to about 280K throughout the quarter.

EasyPark - Parking made easy saw its downloads peak at 11.8K in late July before declining to around 5.2K in mid-September, with a slight recovery to 6.7K by the end of the quarter. Active users followed a similar pattern, starting at 37K and ending the quarter at approximately 41K, with minor fluctuations in between.
